Nope, you have not gone back or forward in time to April 1st. Tim Hortons is really selling a Buffalo sauce-flavored latte.
The beverage is made from freshly brewed espresso, steamed milk, mocha, and Buffalo sauce flavoring. It’s crowned with whipped topping and a dusting of Buffalo seasoning. I imagine the question on most of your minds is — Is it available iced? I have no idea.
Fortunately/unfortunately, it’s available only at TWO Tim Hortons restaurants in Buffalo — 849 Transit Road in Depew, NY and 3470 Main St in Buffalo, NY, while supplies last.
Here’s another question you might have, “Why would Tim Hortons combine the two?”
According to Stephen Goldstein, Regional President, Tim Hortons U.S., “Tim Hortons and Buffalo sauce were both born in 1964, so why not take these two Buffalo staples and combine them?” But the real reason why is to help promote the chain’s new espresso line-up that’s significantly less exciting, but more appetizing than the Buffalo Latte.
If you’re one of the lucky few who gets to try Tim Hortons’ Buffalo Latte, let us know what you think of it in the comments.
