Get your cameras ready! The Instagram-friendly Zombie Frappuccino has just hit participating Starbucks locations for a very limited time (today thru October 31, while supplies last).
The colorful blended beverage features a green caramel apple Frappuccino base with a dark red zombie mocha drizzle and a pink whipped topping that looks like BRAINS!
A grande with whole milk has 290 calories, 5 grams of fat, 3 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 15 milligrams of cholesterol, 240 milligrams of sodium, 58 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 54 grams of sugar, and 5 grams of protein.

I picked one up this morning. It is very pretty to look at but I’m not a huge fan of the flavor. The mocha drizzle is very intense and doesn’t pair well with the green apple frapp for me. Definitely kitschy enough to be worth trying though!
Cue the articles consisting of tweets from whiny, disgruntled Starbucks workers complaining about having to do their job when too many people order these…
2nd time in 1 year I feel Starbucks TOTALLY missed the mark with the flavor of this promotional Frappuccino!
When they did the Unicorn Frapp, I feel they totally missed the mark– should have been cotton candy flavored and not a bizarre mango/sour combination.
And with Zombie– again — missed the mark. Does Sbux even care about taste these days or just the ~Look~ of the drink and how it will photograph on instagram? Zombie should’ve been a caramel apple flavor with CARAMEL drizzle, not mocha drizzle! Wtf??!
And mark my words — there will be some sort of Christmas Frappuccino… Green base with a red swirl… call it the Mistletoe Frappuccino!!
