Whataburger has a new Mushroom Swiss Burger.
Wait a minute. I’m not completely caught up with my Whataburger history, but I find it odd that, for a burger chain that’s been around since 1950, it’s never had a Mushroom Swiss burger. It’s one of those burger varieties that every chain seems to have had. If there was one before, let us know in the comments.
The limited time only burger features two all-beef patties, two layers of premium grilled mushrooms, two slices of Swiss cheese, and the chain’s new creamy Au Jus Sauce.
The burger has 1110 calories, 70 grams of fat, 23 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat, 135 milligrams of cholesterol, 1890 milligrams of sodium, 61 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 11 grams of sugar, and 56 grams of protein.
If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

This was around in 2008 too
Almost TWO GRAMS of sodium: The over-thirty crowd should most definitely avoid this menu item. Oh, don’t get me wrong: This is a MOST delicious and savory burger…but for folks with hypertension issues, IT’S A KILLER—literally, no hyperbole.
