Starbucks has a new Frappuccino to get free advertising from your Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook feeds!
The Crystal Ball Frappuccino is a creme-based Frappuccino infused with peach flavor topped with peach-flavored whipped cream, and turquoise sparkles. The Instagraminess happens with the turquoise sprinkles on the whipped cream that will reveal either a blue, green, or purple color. Blue foretells adventure, green foretells luck, purple foretells magic, and I foretell all three are popping up in your Instagram feed right now.
It’s available from now until March 26 while supplies last as participating Starbucks locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The barista showed me how to make this today. It’s syrup around the cup liner with free powder, peach tea, whole milk and ice. Then they choose which of the three colored sprinkles they put on and top with peach whipped cream. He said it wasn’t very good and mostly kids were ordering it.
I got one as a free sample and still wouldn’t order it again. I love peach and I love these oddball drinks, but this was wholly disappointing. Besides a very very mild peach flavor, there wasn’t much else to it. The Zombie Frap was similarly mild and disappointing.
I got one today and ended up with quite a lot of peach flavor in mine. I wish they’d have something other than tea with peach as part of the permanent menu, because when the peach was especially coming through I thought it was very good. Otherwise, average. Fun to have maybe once or twice.
