If “Hakuna Matata” means “No Worries”, wouldn’t “Hakuna Banana” mean “No Bananas”?
^^^ oh man, they didn’t think that through /facepalm
Maybe “Hakuna” is the “for the rest of your days” part, and “matata” is the “no worries” part. So Hakuna Banana means bananas for the rest of your days.
The word “hakuna” means “there is not here” while “matata” means “problems”…..”there is not any Bananas here”.
Banana Matata actually sounds better, IMHO
You guys are really overthinking this, unless you all work in marketing, IMHO. It’s ice cream. You eat it.
Words have meaning, no matter what field you work in. Would you buy a carton of ice cream that read “This isn’t ice cream” on it?
Sure, I would. Unless it said ‘this is not ice cream because it’s frozen dairy dessert.’ I hate that crap.
I had the chocolate ALDI Sundae Shoppe low fat ice cream pint and honestly I’m curious if Eden Creamery (the company that makes Halo Top) is behind this? I can’t imagine how else they would get away with making the containers look nearly identical and use such similar ingredients. The chocolate tastes and feels like the original Halo Top did before they changed the recipe to make it softer. Very dense and I liked it a lot! There’s no way this isn’t Halo Top, they probably just changed the name so people wouldn’t think any less of them for being cheaper…
In case anyone is wondering, the Yasso Coconut Caramel Choc Chip bars do have pieces of shredded coconut in them (rather than just being coconut-flavored froyo). Deal breaker for me as I love the flavor of coconut, but can’t get down with the texture of shredded coconut.
