I tried this last week. In my opinion, it had a gingersnap taste. It was fine, but it was just enough to try a few bites. I don’t think I could eat a whole cone of it. I also tied the German cake. That had coconut and walnuts and brownie bits. It was very good!
Tried the Chocolate del Fuego Ice Cream…… Not a fan…… Keep hoping you will bring back the “Bananas Foster” from a couple of years ago. That I bought every day you. You can confirm this with the Cerritos, CA Baskin -Robbins.
My Baskin Robbins got it in early and started serving it in the last week of August. Disappointing flavor. Very, very little chili spice at the end. Couldn’t even taste the tres leches. Best off buying ice cream at a grocery store, such as High Road’s Aztec Chocolate. That does have the chili kick that BR’s is lacking.
I thought I wouldn’t like it but after the 2nd taste I thought it was ok and by the time I finished my sample scoop I asked for a scoop in a waffle cone and I absolutely loved it. I was actually glad that it wasn’t actually spicy because I don’t think I would have liked it. Loved the cinnamon flavor and chocolate chips but not sure I tasted the tre leches swirl and I definitely didn’t see it but there was some sort of flavor in it that I did not recognize but it may have been the chili but I was shockingly surprised that I liked it and since it’s the flavor of the month I guess I better indulge in another scoop before BR removes it.
Loved it. The little bite of heat at the end is good but I couldn’t eat more than a kids cup of it. Really love the chocolate and cinnamon combo.
Did not like the cinnamon overtones and would like a bit more heat. Chocolate ice cream and chile is a great flavor combo.
BEST. FLAVOR. EVER! Omg, where has this been all my life?!
I enjoyed it. I love the hint of spice 🙂
Just tried the Chocolate Del Fuego ice cream from Baskin Robbins. Loved It! It was the perfect dessert after our Mexican lunch. We loved the rich flavor of the chocolate, the hint of cinnamon, and that mild chili heat that hits you at the end. If you love chocolate and spicy, this is delicious!
LOVED IT!!!! Will go back for more.
