McDonald’s has a new line of meaty breakfast sandwiches called Triple Breakfast Stacks.
They’re available with either a buttermilk biscuit brushed with butter, a toasted English muffin, or the soft griddles cakes the McGriddles use as buns.
Between the buns are two sausage patties, two slices of American cheese, bacon, and a fluffy folded egg with the biscuit and McGriddles ones or a cracked egg with the McMuffin version.
The McGriddles one has 850 calories, 59 grams of fat, 23 grams of saturated fat, 0.5 grams of trans fat, 285 milligrams of cholesterol, 2020 milligrams of sodium, 48 grams of carbohydrates, and 34 grams of protein.
The biscuit version has 890 calories, 65 grams of fat, 27 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 285 milligrams of cholesterol, 2080 milligrams of sodium, 42 grams of carbohydrates, and 34 grams of protein.
The McMuffin version has 780 calories, 57 grams of fat, 23 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 340 milligrams of cholesterol, 1560 milligrams of sodium, 32 grams of carbohydrates, and 35 grams of protein.

I never get too excited when Fast Food places come out with a new item than consists of something you could have always ordered if you were willing to pay extra and I am pretty sure you could always pay extra for extra meat or cheese in your breakfast sandwich
Ha! Pretty good call there–McD’s actually advertises it as “a secret menu classic!” You better play the lottery this weekend
The McDonalds I went to screwed up the order twice, but the price of it in their app was $0.00, so I was happy to get my free Triple Stack. Once I got the right thing, it was really good, but I gawked a bit at the calorie count.
I’m confused about the last description. What’s the difference between the English muffin and McMuffin?
Mistake. “English muffin” was supposed to say McGriddles.
