It’s that time of year again when many fast food chains roll out their fish sandwiches. Usually, they bring back the same old stuff. Arby’s does too, but it also gets creative with its fishy offerings. For 2019, it was the Cajun Fish Sandwich. In 2018, it was the Nashville Hot Fish Sandwich.
This time Arby’s has dug deep into the shallow well of ideas and thought so far out of the box that it ended up in another box to bring us its Fish ‘N Cheddar Sandwich.
It features a crispy fish fillet with cheddar cheese sauce, tartar sauce, and iceberg lettuce on a sesame seed bun. The sandwich has 540 calories, 22 grams of fat, 3.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 40 milligrams of cholesterol, 1030 milligrams of sodium, 65 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar, and 20 grams of protein.
If you’re looking for something a bit more cheesy (or something to add to the Fish ‘N Cheddar Sandwich to make it a lot more interesting), Arby’s also has a new White Cheddar Mac ‘N Cheese. An order has 510 calories, 29 grams of fat, 17 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 80 milligrams of cholesterol, 1120 milligrams of sodium, 44 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 13 grams of sugar, and 20 grams of protein.
Both cheesy menu items are available for a limited time. If you’ve tried either one, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

Cheese and fish do not go together. Hope Arby’s brings back the flatbread version.
Saw these on the menu yesterday. Also saw a Bacon, Brisket and Beef ‘n Cheddar.
And yet, McD’s Filet O’ Fish is a classic. 🙂 Just not the same without that slice of faux American cheese.
Never had one, not planning on it anytime soon.
You can always request it without cheese
Yeah, but the filet o’fish has never looked worthy of the effort.
And man, do I really sound like a complainer right now, but whatever. Since Arby’s is calling this the fish and cheddar, shouldn’t it have the onion roll?
