Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are now offering the BFC Angus Thickburger. BFC for this burger means “Big Fried Cheese.” BFC for other things means, um, well, nevermind.
The new menu item features a 1/3 lb. charbroiled 100% Angus beef patty, topped with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses coated in a crispy seasoned breading, lettuce, tomato, and the chain’s Boom Bomm sauce on a toasted, buttery premium bun. It has a recommended price of $5.99.
The Carl’s Jr. BFC Angus Thickburger has 1060 calories, 62 grams of fat, 22 grams of saturated fat, 2 gram of trans fat, 150 milligrams of cholesterol, 1720 milligrams of sodium, 78 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 13 grams of sugar, and 49 grams of protein.

This reminds me of when Jack In the Box was testing out the The Big Cheesy many years ago in my area.
There’s also a frisco breakfast sandwich that features the bfc.
