Wow… Lilly on “Making It” was right when she said in early December (actually filmed months before) that llamas are the new unicorns.
There was a really stupid ad where a young woman comes up with this stupid idea of giving either llamas or alpacas day-glo, punk-rock mohawks, and pitches it to the company she works for. And then it catches on and suddenly everywhere she goes people are wearing similar hairstyles. The best I can come up with is that kids saw that ad and actually thought it was a not-stupid idea.
I remembered another possibility. I’ve run across a few instances of products with “no prob-llama” captions, so that may have something to do with this.
Yay I’m a llama again.
