Dunkin’ is expanding its tea offerings with its new Matcha Lattes.
According to the coffee, donut, and, I guess, tea chain, its new lattes feature high-quality Matcha green tea powder that’s produced in the Nishio region of the Aichi prefecture in Japan, where the finest Matcha has been grown for more than 800 years. Dunkin’ takes that powder and blends it with your choice of milk to create its lattes, which are available hot, iced, or frozen.
A large Matcha Iced Latte with whole milk has 304 calories, 12 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 0 gram of trans fat, 35 milligrams of cholesterol, 170 milligrams of sodium, 44 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 43 grams of sugar, and 13 grams of protein.

I got an iced matcha latte today! It was a little milk heavy in flavor but overall very good!
I agree! Next time I will try with Almond Milk if that is an option to see the difference
I can’t drink regular milk, so I had one with almond milk, and it’s just as delicious!!
I look forward to trying it with Coconut milk. Matcha powder and Coconut milk are usually a good combination. Glad DD started offering Almond and Coconut milk after all of these years.
The sugar content is ridiculous. 43 grams are you kidding me? Come on guys do better.
I make my own matcha latte at home in a mason jar. 10 ounces of vanilla almond milk
teaspoon and a half of matcha (good quality – I use ceremonial grade)
a tablespoon of vanilla syrup
ice
shake it up and it’s awesome.
I really want to try this. Any idea how much caffeine is in it?
Sounds good. I look forward to trying this with coconut milk. Matcha and Coconut milk go well together. Thankfully, Dunkin started offering coconut milk.
Tried the steamed/hot one today. A little earthy, but not bad.
My granddaughter got me hooked on frozen Matcha latte. I use whole milk and add whipped cream on top. Absolutely the best drink from Dunkin Donuts
Vanilla almond milk is even better than whole milk.
Is it better hot or cold? Expensive?
It’s better hot because the matcha powder dissolves better in the hot one. Also, I got mine with Almond mild and it was good.
Had it three days in a row, and it was fabulous every single day. So refreshing and very delicious. Homerun!
Tried it cold with almond milk. It taste great! Glad that its offered now ?
Horrible. Tasted like grass blended into milk.
@Ashleigh Have you ever had Matcha powder before or a Match Latte before? That’s typically what Matcha sort of tastes like. It has earthy undertones and kind of a grassy like taste. You may not be used to it. Starbucks has a Matcha Frapacino drink, but their Matcha flavor isn’t as strong or obvious in their drinks. It could just be the type of Matcha powder Dunkin is using.
Yes, this was terrible. I’ve never tasted something so disgusting from Dunkin’ Donuts. Had it in an iced form. For one, the powder wouldn’t fully dissolve no matter how many times I attempted to stir it. Secondly, it had one of the worst aftertastes from a drink I’ve ever experienced not to mention the hard to explain first taste you get when drinking it. Can’t see this being a long lasting product. I dumped the drink into the woods when I got home. I couldn’t stomach an entire medium sized cup of it. Just not a good idea sadly.
i completely agree!
What are you talking about? I had it 3 times, and they were all completely dissolved. Also, it does not taste like grass, it tastes like green tea. If you don’t like green tea, you obviously won’t like a drink that’s made with it.
Just got a small Frozen one and it’s my new favorite beverage! Next time have to order with skim milk, or almond milk however. Other than that good job dunkin!
Hi,
I’ve always loved Japanese matcha green tea ice cream and I found this drink to have a similar flavour and degree of sweetness. All in all very satisfactory but usually served with much too much ice which dilutes the flavor.
***43g of sugar is ridiculous. Dunkin’ needs to allow the customer to decide the sweetener content! We enjoy our Matcha Tea unsweetened!
Amen! My sentiments exactly!
I asked dunkin how they made them and they said just add milk?? She showed me the package which is a matcha/sugar blend, so they can’t really reduce how much sugar is in it unfortunately. Kinda disappointing.
I agree!! Why not use stevia or monk fruit? Waaaay too much sugar!!!!!
Your nutritional values do not come close to matching what Dunkin has on their website. For instance, you only have half the calories compared to what they report.
Where are you looking??? The nutritional values given are exactly what Dunkin reports for a large matcha latte with whole milk.
That is just the way I make it. Blue Diamond vanilla almond milk is 80 calories per cup, so mine is about 100 calories (because I add a little over) the vanilla Torani syrup has 80 calories per 2 tablespoons, but I only put in a tablespoon. The matcha itself and the ice have no calories and no sugar so that makes my latte much healthier. The matcha flavor is stronger than in Dunkin’s or Starbuck’s.
I liked the Dunkin Matcha much better then Starbucks. I wish they could put less sugar though. Do we know what the powder consists of. I would like to know. I am an avid Matcha drinker. I make my own without sugar. I use some honey for sweetness.
The powder is matcha with sugar.
A medium iced matcha green tea latte with light ice made with almond milk and a Beyond Sausage sandwich or wrap, no cheese, add in your own tabasco or salsa and you have yourself a great to go breakfast or lunch. I loved it. Hope it sticks around!
Dunkin Matcha frozen green tea is addictive. I love it. It is so good for you also. It is better than any other frozen drink from any place else. Best you can buy and a lot cheaper than any place else. Yum
I tried it, it has too much sugar. I used to get them from Starbucks, but since there is no Starbucks near me I tried the one from Dunkin Donuts. A large one at Dunkin is over 500 calories. I’m making my own, it has better flavor and it’s less than 150 calories.
There is too much sugar. I purchased a ‘matcha latte with almond milk’ and it is too sweet!
I really enjoy the frozen matcha latte. In fact I have a small one on the table next to me. FYI, the sugar is added while making them. You can get them without the added sugar. Just ask for no sugar. It still taste just as good.
