It’s a new month, which means it’s time for a new Sonic product. Actually, I don’t think the chain releases a new product EVERY month, but it sure does seems like it. Anyhoo, Sonic has introduced the Queso Burger.
It features a quarter-pound, 100% pure beef patty topped with cheddar, a zesty cheese sauce with Hatch Green Chiles, grilled onions, and mayo on a toasted bakery bun. The burger has an advertised price of $3.99 and is available for a limited time.
If you’re not familiar with Hatch Green Chiles, join the club. If you want to be familiar with the pepper, you can read this, which was the second article that popped up when I typed into Google “what are hatch green chiles.”

Looks great except the mayo, why do these places insist on using mayo on everything.
Ask for it without mayo then. Did I just blow your mind? I know you’ve never thought of this before.
I can only imagine what a mess this would be to eat.
I had this burger yesterday and it was AMAZING! I wish this was a permanent menu item. DELICIOUS!!!
