Update: We tried it! Click here to read our review.
It’s Wendy’s berry salad season!
This year, the red-headed one brings us the Summer Strawberry Salad. It features Wendy’s signature lettuce blend, herb-marinated grilled chicken breast, a three-cheese blend of Parmesan, Asiago, and Fontina, Applewood smoked bacon, and strawberries. It also comes with candied almonds and Marzetti Simply Dressed Champagne Vinaigrette.
A full order without dressing has 410 calories, 21 grams of fat, 8 grams of saturated fat, 0 gram of trans fat, 125 milligrams of cholesterol, 790 milligrams of sodium, 17 grams of carbohydrates, 6 grams of fiber, 9 grams of sugar, and 45 grams of protein.

Anyone else dealing with their INSANE amount of gristle in the chicken used for salads? I used to love their salads but the ick factor is too much.
Hmm…I’ve never had that issue
I’ve never encountered the chicken being gross and gristly, and I’m super picky about things like that.
This would be great with blue cheese vs. the shredded blend. But I suppose blue cheese is too polarizing for fast food.
Wendy’s did include blue cheese in a previous summer strawberry salad.

Ah! I thought they had!
Really great combination and marriage of flavors. It could use more strawberries, and I think feta may have been a better cheese choice, but overall it is very good. The chicken also was surprisingly great.
I love a nutritional break down of the calories, fat, protein, and carbs without the nut topping (and dressing). I found it without dressing, but I am limiting carbs so won’t be using the candied nuts…
Hubby bought me one, but my salad did not have any bacon 🙁 …are they supposed to add that when ordered??
I didn’t know it was supposed to have any until I looked up the nutrition values…
