Dairy Queen is celebrating its 80 years of existence with the Piñata Party Blizzard.
It features confetti frosting, cake pieces, and cake batter confetti stars blended into DQ’s vanilla soft serve. The treat is also finished with whipped topping and edible glitter.
I’m surprised DQ didn’t top the Blizzard with one of its Buster Bars that could represent the stick or bat used to swing at a pinata. I’m also disappointed DQ didn’t include it because I like it when the chain tops a Blizzard with a frozen novelty.
The Piñata Party Blizzard is available for a very limited time at participating DQ locations.
If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

That looks horrendous.
Called my local store, this is a very limited. Stores will only have supplies to last up to maybe a week tops.
As they say.. “While supplies last”
I’d really like to see a review of this…jump on it, Impulsive Buy!
We’re going to try. But our usual Blizzard reviewer, Denis, said it’s not being offered at the DQs near him.
I would get anyone involved in this case.. this won’t last long.. and a chance to review it will be slim with the limited amount of supplies each store carries.
My best friend and I got these over the weekend. I got a medium and about a third of the way through it I felt sick because it’s so sweet. Half of it is still sitting in my freezer 2 days later because I don’t wanna finish eating it. There’s so much going on with it. The ice cream doesn’t really have a flavor and the chunks of cake in it are just ok (not sure how, but they seem dry). The stars is what makes it overwhelming imo. I’m pretty sure it’s pure sugar, whatever it actually is. It looks cute, but I regret ordering it.
