Update: We tried it! Click here to read our review.
I guess folks who miss Pepsi Blue no longer have to feel blue. No wait, this is going to be around for a limited time. So they’ll probably feel blue again after it disappears from shelves. Well, now that we’ve gotten Crystal Pepsi and Pepsi Blue to come back, I guess Holiday Spice Pepsi is next, right? (Spotted by @CourseURHere at Target.)
Oh man, throwback to my Warped Tour Days of kids chugging this and YooHoo…
Oof…just looking at the bottle sets my teeth on edge, Pepsi is already disgustingly sweet…and now it gets the added “benefit” of blue food coloring, too? Ick!
So what makes blue food coloring any worse than caramel food coloring?
Nothing. My greater point was just that I hate Pepsi (again, only because it’s WAY too sweet)…and I simply don’t understand the purpose of the blue coloring, that’s all.
It’s actually berry flavored, in addition to the color.
I remember at the time Pepsi Blue was out, Safeway had a soda that was called Blue Raspberry that tasted identical to Pepsi Blue. Mind you I might be wrong.
And it’s AMAZING!!!!!!! Or at least it was, when it first came out. I have not gotten to try it again, yet.
It doesn’t really have a cola taste if I remember correctly, more of a berry taste.
I will try it at least once like I did Crystal Pepsi when that came back. Can’t guarantee I’d like it though. Had mixed feelings when it was around.
colors : pink purple yellow
I hated this when it was first out, but I’m looking forward to trying it out again. There was no cola taste at the time, only weird stank berry.
Tastes just like it did in its 2002-2004 original run…and that’s not a bad thing, it’s a good thing! The only thing I don’t like about it is that I feel the packaging leaves a lot to be desired as opposed to the original packaging. Google it if you don’t know what I mean and I’m sure a lot of you will agree.
Where can I buy it tho?
