Eggnog flavored French ice cream with flecks of nutmeg and a whipped topping swirl. I’ve never thought of putting whipped cream on eggnog. Is that something people do? Have I been celebrating the holidays wrong? (Spotted by Jim R at Fry’s Food Stores.)
Yeah, what’s with the whipped-topping swirl added? I have never seen/had eggnog that way. Just another way to add wholly-unnecessary fat and calories, IMO; ick. I’m sure some will disagree, however. 😉
Eggnog is not my thing personally but I have been to enough parties and watched enough cooking shows to gather that it is frequently served topped with whipped cream.
Perhaps I’m just biased but I envision loads of this on clearance in about 4 weeks from now.
Too bad about the nutmeg, which is something I wish were wiped off the planet. I’ve not tried eggnog but this is the form that appeals to me the most for sure. Apologies to the nutmeg lovers.
I have tried many different eggnog ice cream in the past and this one is so good it tastes just like the real thing thanks for making a great ice cream
