NEWS: Nabisco Introduces Newtons Fruit Thins, Not To Be Confused With Newtons Fruit Crisps or Nabisco Wheat Thins

Update: Scroll down to the comments section to read what people think of the Newtons Fruit Thins

Coming soon to stores (or maybe they’re already in stores) are the Nabisco Newtons Fruit Thins, which sound like the result of Newtons Fruit Crisps and Nabisco Wheat Thins hooking up. However, unlike the Newtons Fruit Crisps, which contain a thin layer of fruit filling, these Newton Fruit Thins have their fruit baked in. These crispy cookies are made with real fruit and come in four varieties:

Fig and Honey

Blueberry Brown Sugar

Cranberry Citrus Oat

Raspberry Chocolate

A serving of Newtons Fruit Thins has 140 calories, 5 grams of fat, 1-1.5 gram of saturated fat, 95 milligrams of sodium, 21-22 grams of carbohydrates, 1-2 grams of fiber, 7-8 grams of sugar, and 2 grams of protein.

Newtons Fruit Thins come in 10.5 ounces packages.

  1. I got a package of the fruit crisps a few weeks ago on a Southwest airline flight. The old people next to me loved them. I thought they were crap. I miss the 100 calorie pack Lorena Doons’ now.

    1. The wife brought a package of the Raspberry Chocolate home yesterday……WHERE’S THE FRUIT?! Utter garbage and waste of money, totally disappointed in the Newton Brand…but, not really surprised in this age of ‘sell-out’ marketing ….they need to take that idea back to the drawing board for retooling.

      1. the packaging is right on target for the cookies. They are great, they have NO FILLING as in the picture and they are crispy. that is why they are called crisps. and the best part is that there is no fruit filling to dry out and no fruit filling to ooze out. THEY ARE GREAT! just wish we could find them?!?!!?!?!?

        1. i see them everywhere i go here in colorado..wal mart, king soopers, walgreens. unfortunately not all flavors. still my favorite cookie and im turning more ppl on yo them everyday

  2. Crunchy cookies with bits of chewy fruit. Like the cranberry orange and can’t wait to try rest

    1. I love the cranberry ones. My complaint is that I can’t find them anywhere. Target in La Plata Maryland had them but have been sold out for 2 weeks. What is the issue? Safeway, Foodlion and Giant do not have them. I love them but do not know how to find them.

      Thanks.

        1. Love the chocolate raspberry, but cant find in any store in sc no more!
Walmart use to have them, been to 4 but not no more. Tried 3 local grocery chains not there as well.
Have they quit making them all together, cause don’t even see the other flavors no more either.

      1. I bought the Blueberry fig newtons thins for my husband at Walmart months ago, now the last 3 times I went they are telling me they havent been getting the blueberry shipped to them, I have looked at other stores, and its the same thing they have a few other flavors, but not the blueberry. why is it so hard to find the blueberry fig newton thins

      2. I can’t find the chocolate raspberry at the grocery. Where can I buy them?? I have been to all the grocery stores. They all used to cary them.

  3. I tried the Raspberry Chocolate variety and found it to be wonderful. Kind of a not-too-sweet dark chocolate wafer with bits of real dried raspberries–somewhat reminiscent of British biscuits. Very satisfying grown-up cookie which is good with hot tea or coffee. This may not appeal to those folks who like really like their cookies laden with sweeteners, but I’ll be buying more and will try the other varieties.

  4. The blueberry brown sugar ones are AWESOME!!!!! They taste sooooo good!! I can’t wait to try the raspberry chocolate ones!

  5. I have lost 100 lbs by making small changes in my eating and exercise habits. I am always on the lookout for new and tasty treats that won’t pack on the pounds. I tried the Blueberry and the Fig varities. As an “old” person, I found them wonderfully tasteful. I spread them with a little peanut butter for a delightful, healthy snack. I am looking forward to trying the other varieties.

  6. I just found the Blueberry Brown Sugar ones at Walmart and yesterday and though I was pretty skeptical, I was amazed at how good they tasted! Nutritional value isn’t bad either. Pretty satisfying and I can’t wait to try the other varities!

  7. I thought the package very misleading as it the photo appears to show thicker cookies which leads one to believe it is “fruit filled” much like a fig newton – and the name ” Newton” is misleading as well because that also implies something similar to a fig newton.

  8. I purchased the new Newton Fruit Thin cookies at a local Target. I got the Blueberry Brown Sugar variety. I love them! They are crisp, full of flavor and bits of real blueberries. I love the fact that they do not contain high fructose corn syrup. There are hardly any cookies out there that don’t have it. Also they have 2 grams of fiber, oats and protein. I can’t wait to try the chocolate rasberry variety. Finally, I am seeing some healthier versions of one of my favorite snacks. Keep them coming!

  9. Loved the Blueberry Brown Sugar ones!!! However, not paying that close attention to the label other than “Newton”, I too, assumed they would be soft and ‘chewy’ and a bit thicker with a similar texture found in a Fig Newton cookie. But, even after discovering that they was more like a cracker, I still enjoyed the taste and would definitely buy them again. 🙂

  10. I saw these on the shelf at the grocery today and figured I’d try them. I bought the chocolate raspberry wafers and they’re DELICIOUS! They’re more of an adult favored “cookie.” Like someone mentioned earlier in a post, it’s more like an English styled “biscuit”. I’m already addicted!

  11. I TOO GOT THE BLUEBERRY BROWN SUGAR. DID NOT SEE ANY CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY BUT WILL LOOK FOR THEM NOW. THE BLUEBERRY BROWN SUGAR ONES ARE GREAT. ALSO CONTAINS 50 MG OF POTASSIUM WHICH IS ALWAYS A GOOD THING. THINGS GOOD FOR YOU CAN ALSO TASTE GOOD.

  12. I bought the Raspberry Chocolate ones from Target the other day.
I love them and will be looking for the Blueberry Brown Sugar ones soon. I keep them at my desk at work and have them with either my morning or afteroon coffee. I’m wondering what they’ll taste like with a little Laughing Cow cheese spread on them. Thoughts ? My only gripe is the packaging. The first time I tried opening it at the “resealable” end, the whole package ripped straight down the middle!
So rather than risk them going stale, I had to transfer them all to a zip lock baggie. Kind of a bummer there but I’d still purchase the product again.

    1. “I had to transfer them all to a zip lock baggie.” [after a tearing accident…]

You will be happy to know that all the cookies in one bag will very nicely fit into a 1 quart wide-mouth Mason jar…. 🙂 I just had to slip a few of them down the sides of the column of cookies. Plenty of room.

This means that if you have a vacuum sealer with a mason jar attachment – you can easily use it to keep them from going stale. Assuming that you don’t eat them up so fast that it’s a moot point.

  13. I just tried the Blueberry ones….FANTASTIC ! Just enough sweetness to satisfy me. I enjoy the crispy texture and one does taste Bluberries ! Hoping to see a better selection at the stores where I shop.

  14. We got buy one get one free at Publix and my family (Husband and 2yr old twins) LOVE THEM, esp Blueberry. We got the fig and honey too! Yum

  15. Bought the Fig and HOney Newtons Fruit Thins from Target. It is one of the best store bought crispy cookies I’ve ever eaten. I’ve already bought 4 bags and given them to friends.

********My only criticism is, could the hard fruit pulp be strained out of the Fig flavored thins? It is too hard!

The other flavors were sold out. I’m looking forward to trying the others. I’ll take a couple of bags to church with me to share.
    Great new product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. My husband bought a package of the Fig and Honey fruit thins. They are great. Please keep them coming and do not change anything about them!!Cannot wait to try the other varieties

  17. THE BLUEBERRY AND BROWN SUGAR ARE AMAZING! MY HUSBAND AND I COULD NOT PUT THE PACKAGE DOWN!!!

  18. Make sure you read the ingredients closely. These “delicious” cookies are probably loaded withso many harming chemicals to your body. You are better just eating some blueberries and rasberries with some granola.

    1. Ingredients: UNBLEACHED ENRICHED FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE {VITAMIN B1}, RIBOFLAVIN {VITAMIN B2}, FOLIC ACID), WHOLE GRAIN WHEAT FLOUR, SOYBEAN AND/OR PALM OIL, SUGAR, ROLLED OATS, DRIED BLUEBERRIES, BROWN SUGAR, FLAX SEEDS, FRUCTOSE, SALT, BAKING SODA, SOY LECITHIN, NATURAL FLAVOR. CONTAINS: WHEAT, SO

      1. Ha! Well played. And that makes the score +1 kp, 0 pretentious, condescending little twit.

        1. now, that pretentious, condescending little twit kind of had a point. refined flour and sugar are NOT a good thing, and whereas they aren’t as bad as say hexamethelblahblahblah, they still adversely affect one’s metabolism. you really are better off with homemade granola and fresh fruit. not to say that a cookie isn’t a bloody good thing at times.

    2. no you should read the ingredients…i did. if you HAVE to have a cookie. they are the healthiest that have real flavor.

  19. I tried the Fig and Honey and the Cranberry Citrus Oat. Both are delicious. Try to find a coupon because they are over $4.00 in the regular grocery store. Walmart currently has them for $3.50.

  20. Bought the chocolate raspberry today. Found them to be tasteless. Not very chocolately and don’t taste any raspberries. Maybe the others are better, but not going to waste another 3.50 to find out.

    1. “Bought the chocolate raspberry today. Found them to be tasteless.” See if you can split a pack with someone or just mooch a single cookie to try the other flavors – I’m not wild about the chocolate raspberry but really really like the other 3 types. I’m not a chocoholic, just like it sometimes. So I probably won’t buy more chocolate raspberry when it runs out, but will definitely buy more of the others (just did, actually, since they were finally on sale at the local grocery store). They all have very distinctive flavors. Maybe the chocolate gets in the way of the raspberry, but the fruit comes through well in the others.

    2. P.S. I find that the less sugar I eat, the more sensitive my taste buds are to flavors. Just tried another raspberry chocolate fruit thin after a few days low sugar and definitely had no trouble tasting the fruit. It generally only takes a couple of days off sugar for the enhanced taste phenomenon to appear. The same might be true for fat and salt (definitely occurs for salt). Maybe even trying something first thing in the morning might be a better test. These cookies are still quite sweet to me (I get much less sugar in my regular diet than most), but not as sweet as most American cookies and also don’t taste like there’s a lot of fat in them. They supposedly have about 1.7 grams fat per cookies, but I have no idea if that is high or low (not ever being into low fat diets myself).

  21. tried the honey fig ones and they are great for breakfast; not too sweet but just right for my taste. I also like the thinness of them and the chewey bits of fruit. Great texture, reminds me of an animal cracker and about the same amount of sweetness. I cant wait to try the blueberry ones when they are on sale again

  22. I am diabetic and always looking for snack and finally I can eat 3 cookies without a lot of carbs that send my gloucose sky high. These are excellent and I have tried all the 4 flavors. Yes different than regular cookies but still excellent

  23. I bought all 4 varieties and it’s nice that a major food maker seems to have a few smart people who get it. Our healthcare costs and health problems are rising because of the HIGH VOLUMES OF CORN SYRUP, SUGAR, AND SODIUM AND LACK OF FIBER in our foods. These are delicious grown up cookies with reasonable levels of sodium and sugar. Thins are crunchy and fruit pieces are chewy. Bravo, LESS IS MORE you don’t need thick cookies with icing or filling. Recipe should be tweeked to add just a pinch of oat bran or any kind of bran to increase the fiber content past the 2 gram mark. The 4 combinations are well thought out and ADDICTIVE. Now I buy ALL FOUR every 2 weeks. HOW ABOUT REVISING THE RECIPES FOR ALL YOUR OTHER PRODUCTS AS WELL. YES, MY FELLOW AMERICANS; INCLUDING THE DEAR CHILDREN, CAN ADJUST THEIR PALATES AND ACQUIRE A TASTE FOR FOODS LESS SWEET. It only takes a few days to get used to a little difference in taste and take a big step toward better health. WHATEVER CUSTOMERS NABISCO MAY LOSE WILL BE OUTNUMBERED BY THE INCREASING VOLUMES OF INFORMED CONSUMERS WHO READ LABELS AND BUY QUALITY.

  24. I originally didn’t care for these when I got a sample in the market. But I was compelled to buy a package of the Blueberry & Brown sugar. For some odd reason I put them into the freezer. The next day I saw my mistake but tried one. MUCH TO MY AMAZEMENT, It tasted completely different.

I’ve tried this now with a few family members, offering them the room temp cookie and then a frozen one. Only one person preferred the room temp cookie.

    Try it out!

  25. Finally an American Company gets it! A thin biscuit, not too sweet and no gooey frosting in the center. Just like the Dare biscuits of Canada.Cannot get the Dare biscuits here, so I have been getting Nabisco fruit thins. Great over ice cream and with yogurt.
Thank you, love this new product.

  26. I think that Newton fruit thins are wonderful. i have ttried the Blueberry & Brown Sugar and the Figs & Honey the both are very good and I think they are a good adult cookie that is not filled with with a lot of sugar. When I find t hem at the store I al looking forward to trying the Cranberry Citrus Oats. Thanks Nabisco

  27. Love the cranberry and orange flavor, like to make ice cream sandwiches with them and frozen yogurt!

  28. The Blueberry Brown Sugar are AWESOME…will try others, for sure! thanks Nabisco~

  29. The Blueberry Brown Sugar ones are delicious, as others have said above “an adult cookie” not too sweet but yet has real fruit bits. Yes a little pricey but worth it.

  30. I’m not old – lol, but I LOVE these cookies! I’ve tried both the Blueberry Brown Sugar & Chocolate Raspberry. The texture is great! Not too sweet, but satisfies the sweet tooth:). The ingredients are all healthy and the fact that there is no high fructose or any of the usual junk manufacturers stuff into our cookies make them even more appealing! Healthy and tasty – breakfast, snack and with frozen vanilla yogurt – TO DIE FOR!

  31. One other nice thing is that there are no milk or egg products in these cookies (very simple ingredients, actually). Great for people who are allergic to eggs and milk or who don’t eat such things for other reasons. Not too many cookies in the stores are in that category (have to read labels carefully myself). My only complaint is the high price, but you do get 30 good sized cookies in the bag.

Well, one more complaint. I have so much trouble deciding between the Blueberry, the Cranberry, and the Fig versions that I always end up eating one of each instead of “just one cookie”. They really are that good. Maybe that’s why the nutritional information claims 3 cookies is one serving ….

  32. Blueberry and brown sugar are awesome!!!!! I’m trying to stay away from processed sugars and white flour and these are amazing, only takes 3 cookies to feel like it was a good snack. Great with 2% milk!

  33. best cookies ever! my first was from my friend Cheryl. they were blueberry, which i usually dont eat. but eat them i did and came back for more. then i had to try the other flavors. all were beyond yummola.it blows my mind that they are so healthy too. think i have my whole team at worked hooked on them now. in order of favorites. 1.cranberry-citrus 2.honey-fig. 3. blueberry 4. chocolate. thanks newton!!!!

  34. Have tried both the Cranberry/orange (citrus) and the fig/honey varieties which boast 8 grams of whole grain. Cranberry/orange is favorite by far!!

Blueberry/brown sugar doesn’t tempt me, but chocolate raspberry will be my next purchase.

Thanks Nabisco for a three-cookie mid-afternoon snack that only has 140 calories, of which only 45% fat, and that has 8 grams of whole grain and no high fructose corn syrup!

  35. I love the cranberry orange! Second choice is blueberry. I am having trouble finding them. I too find the fig seeds hard on the teeth. I shop Stater Brothers, Vons and Ralphs. For two weeks they are sold out.
Please restock soon in Encinitas, California.

  36. Love the cranberry orange, can find them, Krogers Shelf has been empty for months, Super Walmart doesn’t have them…

  37. The Newtons Cranberry Citrus Oat Thins are the greatest the stores cannot seem to keep them on the shelves Nabisco hit a winner this time for sure

  38. OMG, seen these Bluberry Brown suger fruit thins in a magazine while sitting at the doctors office. I went to store and picked some up as soon as i left. These are sooooo good, seriously great snack. Even my kids , who can be very picky, loved them!!!

  39. Nabisco – was very disappointed in the new “fruit thins” – they should be advertised as a tea cookie.
Was hoping for a “flatter”, but still chewy fruit filled Newton!

    Won’t buy these again –

  40. The Fig and Honey have hard pieces of something, fig? Loved the flavor, but was expecting more fruit. I was taken by the “Newtons” and the “fruit” on the package.

  41. Love the new Newton Thins especially the Blueberry&Brown sugar .The question is Why cant we find them anywhere?? Target Walmart A&P Shoprite all out of stock WHY? is there a problem? Please respond

  42. Where are my Chocolate thin crips with rasberries. I haven’t been able to find them in a store in months and I miss them.

  43. I have tried all of the flavors and liked all of them. I shop at the Giant Eagle and have a very difficult time finding them on the shelves. Either they have one bag left or nothing left. What is the story? Why is this product so difficult to get?

  44. Tried about a dozen stores trying to find the fig cookie and still haven’t found them. I found them in Target about 2 months ago and can’t find them since. Maybe they stopped making them.

  45. We love the blueberry and cranberry—I went to Schnucks-Dierburgs and Shop and Save and they are out of all but fig—have been for OVER 2 weeks–I don’t know who keeps up with stocking shelves but here in West county St. Louis–they are doing a lousy job—we miss them–wish we could get them. PLEASE SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO—-Anne

  46. I love the chocolate raspberry but cant find on any shelves for over a month now. I have looked in the different chain of grocery stores and 2 walmarts all but chocolate are there whats the problem.

  47. Love all the varieties, but mainly the Chocolate Raspberry. Only trouble is here in KC you can’t find them anywhere. Several Price Choppers, Hen House, HyVee, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, etc etc….nope….called Nabisco (which is answered by Kraft) and they have no clue. At first they said it was a store manager problem, but when I told them how many stores I had been to, and that I’d spoken with the managers, they backed off and said they weren’t sure why we couldn’t get them here. If the Marketing Department would wake up and realize that if you are going to produce, market, advertise, promote on the website a cookie you had darn well be able to provide it to your grocery stores. You risk making a lot of people mad at the whole product line. We need to get this flavor back in the KC area!!! For now the Citrus ones are the best for me…but I want the Chocolate ones back!!!

  48. As a child I always loved Fig Newtons. But they were soft & tasty. As an adult, I love crispy cookies, & eat very few that haven’t been home baked. Your new Fruit Thins – every flavor – are divine. Each flavor has its own personality with wonderful crispness, (enhanced by freezing) & they are sooooo delicious without having to think about the ingredients, which are also healthy. Thank you for developing this food product. Shall continue to enjoy as long as you produce them!am

  49. Love the Chocolate Raspberry!!!! Cannot find it in the stores since I first purchased in Hamilton Square N.J…..want to purchase this flavor again!!! P.S. so do my co-workers that I shared with.

  50. As a European who has lived for 20 years in the US, Newton Fruit Thins are the first US-made cookie I really like. The usual American cookies are overly sweet, often gooey, and apparently made for toothless people who can munch only soft stuff (which is why they are toothless in the first place).

  51. Just tried Newton Fruit Thins (blueberry brwn sugar) for the first time… WOW, very tasty- they are now my favorite cookie! Look forward to trying the other flavors/varieties.

  52. Tried all but choc/rasb and like alot but why do some have foil sealed packaging inside and some do not? Very strange..

  53. I loved the fruit crisps, but all the local stores took them out in favor of the fruit thins, which are really dry and yucky. I guess I’ll have to get the fruit crisps mail-order.

  54. I have tried all of the flavors of the Newton Thins and the Blueberry is indeed my favorite. I pick at people and tell them that they are my “addiction.” I actually go through one whole pack a week. They are great with coffee. If asked what my favorite food it, I would have to say them.

  55. OMG! I adore these cookie! THe Citrus and Cranberry are my new favorite cookie. Crispy, just the right size, chewy fruit and oat cookie that is wonderful with tea! My problem is how to STOP eating them. Target has a coupon at the moment, buy TWO bags and get a $1 off!! (AS if two bags were enough!)

  56. Oh Yea! Love the three flavors I tried. Can’t wait to try the Fig and Honey. Unfortunately not diet material for me as I can’t stop eating them!!!

  57. I’ve tried the cranberry orange and chocolate razz…..both are really good. Still a cookie, but one I can eat without the guilt of a deep fried oreo. Don’t like them? Cool….leaves more for me. Haven’t tried them? Don’t avoid them because of negative comments here…they are worth trying for yourself….and while you’re at it…give some to the grandkids and leave the oreos at the store.

  58. I just bought a bag of these the other day (cranberry citrus) and I LOVE them. I am not a person who is really big into sweets, so I’m inclined to only eat one or two at at time. These are awesome for the light snacker who just wants a little something sweet, I think that if someone is a die hard sweets fan, they may be a little let down. I can’t wait to try the rest of them.

    1. Shame on you “Nabisco”. I absolutely love your new fruit thins EXCEPT the Lemon Crisp. The flavor is awesome but the texture of the lemon pieces are non chewable and I have to spit them out in order to eat the cookie. My husband had to do the same thing….grrrr I’m not a happy camper when I had to spend $4.50 for one bag. You can do better than that. Leave out the hunks next time.

        1. Though the lemon flavor is good, those lemon pieces are too hard to chew. Had to spit out.

          1. I agree. I just bought the Lemon flavor and I thought…Why would they put JuJuBees (sp) in a cookie. The lemon bits reminded me of that candy that was impossible to chew. Bet someone could lose a filling on them! Other than that, the cookie is terrific. Sherry:)

          2. Yes the first bag of newton fruit thins I purchased were the lemon crisp. And yes those pieces of lemon or whatever it is,is not edable you have to spit them out and those pieces are actually hard enough I think, to break a tooth.I have not tried anymore and that was months ago.

  59. The Fruit Thins are a real disappointment. I remember the old Fig Newtons–soft and fruity–but these things are crunchy-dry, with no more fruit than an occasional tiny flake. This may be what some dieters are looking for–and I am one–but trading on the old Newton name is a mistake, because it can create the wrong expectation. And if you didn’t think it would create an expectation, why did you use it?

If you think this customer reaction is “spammy”and I am “a complete douchebag,”you’re even more out of touch than I thought (as well as tasteless.)

    1. Um, I’d hate you embarrass on the internet for everyone to see, but you obviously don’t realize that this is not a Nabisco website. We have no affiliation with Nabisco or Fig Newtons.

  60. I have had no desire to try the flavors that were available of the fruit thins until I found the Apple, Cinnamon oat, I like them very much. I hope they come out with Banana flavor next.

    1. I love the fruit thins. I especially love that they can be yummy healthy snack. I can eat two of them and they fill me up but they taste so good that, I always crave and eat more regardless of if I’m hungry or not. I definitely have an addiction. I tried blueberry, fig honey, and I have to say that the one I love the most is the Apple cinnamon oat. It has three of my favorite favors in one. I wanted to try the cranberry citrus oat but, I’m not a big fan of cranberries and the fruit thins are not cheap, so I can only buy two bags of them if they are on sale. I just brought two bags of the apple cinnamon oats which I love, after finishing off two packs in about a week between my mother and me; the fruit thins didn’t have a chance. :3

  61. Love the flavors, love the texture, love them! My kids are just as satisfied w/these as they would be w/traditional (usually less healthy) “cookies”, and I’d rather give them these. If you’re disappointed because these are not just like Fig Newtons, well, buy Fig Newtons! It’s that simple.

  62. I love ur cookies the blueberry were my favorite until i ran across the lemon flavored cookies but i cant seem to find them in the store but once and i am losing my mind because the lemon cookies have dissappeared off the shelves my kids have even chose the newton fruit thins over chips ahoy and oreos wow what a great cookie!!!

  63. I just LOVE your new Newton Fruit Thins…they are absolutely delicious.
Never stop making them..a great light, crispy snack!!! Have tried all, but blueberry, brown sugar is favorite.

Also, the new Oscar Meyer selects, (no nitrate) hot dogs are the best ever…no after taste, burping, etc. Much better for you.

    Keep going Kraft foods!! Yea!!

  64. I love these cookies, I bought the lemon Newton Fruit Thins and because of the hard pieces of dried lemon I broke two of my teeth.

  65. I love this product line! The cookies are light and not-too-sweet. Perfect. EXCEPT for the lemon variety. Those cookies have a thick, leathery, unchewable lemon substance which ruined the “cookie experience.” Other than that, keep them coming!

  66. Bought the blueberry version of Real Fruit Crisps and they are wondwrful! Hard to stop eating them. And the whole family feels the same way.

  67. Have tried cranberry, and lemon, and both have EXCELLENT flavor! Agree about the hard pieces, but I simply don’t even try to chew them down further, but merely chew lightly, and ‘bypass’ the hard bits in each variety. No, I don’t spit them out; I just don’t try to break them down further. I like them in there for texture, but I don’t go out of my way to remove them or break my teeth on them. Love these cookies!

  68. Just came back from Italy a few weeks ago where we enjoyed tea and some kind of shortbread cookies every afternoon when everything over there comes to a halt until evening. Saw these and thought I would try them. They are wonderful with tea – now I am addicted and so is my daughter. Tried the Blueberry and can’t wait to try the others. Great product I don’t have to feel guilty about eating.

  69. The chewy lemon bits are the best part of these cookies! Really improves the texture. ANd the lemon flavor.

  70. Well, I am odd woman out, “I love the lemon fruit thins. However, I have not been able to buy any which don’t have at least one-third of the cookies broken into many pieces. I have bought them in a number of stores with the same results. I do believe you might be able to improve on your packaging because they are fragile cookies albeit they are in an attractive package which closes nicely. It is the inner packaging that is the problem. I am a lemon thin eater so I can’t comment on the condition of the other flavors. What say you, Nabisco? There’s gotta be a way; I mean even saltine crackers are packaged not to break. That aside, I don’t mind the pieces in the lemon thins, but possible they could be softer. Thanks, I hope some packaging genius can push a button on the assembly line and keep those cookies stable.

  71. O…M…G!!!! The Banana with Dark Fudge cookies are to die for!!!! Absolutely phenomenal cookies and they go great with vanilla ice cream or just plain milk!!!! I buy them 2 packs at a time!!! Wasn’t a huge fan of the others, I mean, they were good but not great but these banana fudge ones…. YUMM-O!!!!! 🙂

  72. I love the new line of Nabisco fruit thins! My favorite are the Lemon ones and i have been disappointed when looking for them. I had thought possibly they were sold out because so yummy… But just now i read some complaints about them. I sure hope the Lemon ones haven’t been discontinued!
Also, thankfully they are NUT-FREE! My allergic granddaughter also enjoys them. So far her favorites are blueberry and cranberry. Please continue to process them in a nut- free facility!

  73. I loved the lemon crisps . Yes there were hard bits , but the taste was great . Please get them back
    On the shelves.

  74. Can’t find the lemon at any of the places I use to. They are the best of all the flavors and I’m having withdrawals.is there anu place I can get them?

  75. Please bring back the Lemon Crisp! I have searched every store and assume they are not being made anymore. We love them! The Cranberry Citrus are good, too, but the lemon are wonderful!

  76. I love the blueberry fruit thins. How about raspberry and white chocolate? Seems better than regular chocolate.

  77. Well you have a new flavor on the market which is now my favorite of all. Banana fudge. I loved the lemon but this has one my heart. Thank you thank you.

  78. Cherry vanilla is bomb.com theeee best!!!! But still want to try them all! So far I’ve had blueberry brown sugar( I like those for fiber cuz the flax seeds) but also had Choco fudge banana.. Oh and my grandma had the cranberry ones but I don’t remy what those tastes like.. I remy I. Loved them but still need to stock up!! Yayyyy never discontinue these! No one hit wonders ok?! They need to stay here foreve!! Trois addicted!

  79. I love the lemon flavored thin crisps especially the chewy bit of lemon in them. They are the perfect treat with a cup of tea. I like them best because they aren’t overly sweet. Why can I not find them in any grocery store????? My local Giant had them for a short time but they have not been available for months. I asked the store manager but still no lemon crisps. Where can I find them???????

  80. I have been looking for the newton thins in the southwest Missouri area and can no longer find them. I enjoyed the blueberry the most. I wish they really wouldn’t advertise something that isn’t available.
