COMING SOON: New 2016 Mountain Dew Kickstart Flavors

New Mountain Dew Kickstart Flavors

Mountain Dew Kickstart made its debut in 2013 with two flavors — Orange Citrus and Fruit Punch.

Back then some clueless dude said, “To be honest, I’m not sure who’s going to regularly buy Mountain Dew Kickstart.”

Here we are three years later and I have to eat those words because the number of Kickstart flavors has grown to six, and it’ll grow even more later this month when four new flavors make their debut.

Midnight Grape will be the newest flavor in the regular Kickstart line, Watermelon will be the latest flavor in the coconut water-infused Kickstart Hydrating Boost line, and Blueberry Pomegranate and Blood Orange will be part of a new variety called Kickstart Recharge.

The new flavors will be available at retailers nationwide beginning on January 25.

COMING SOON: Easter Sundae M&M’s

Easter Sundae M M s

On Easter Sunday you can top a sundae with Easter Sundae M&M’s. I’m not sure what sundaes have to do with Easter, but shouldn’t sundaes be an every Sunday thing?

According to the package, these have a white center surrounded by milk chocolate. It’s unclear whether it’s white chocolate or a white confection.

The flavor will available exclusively at Walmart.

COMING SOON: Sugar Plum Delight Peeps

Sugar Plum Peeps

After candy cane, hot cocoa, sugar cookie, and gingerbread, you’d think Peeps would come out with an eggnog-flavored Peep this Christmas season, but that’s not the case. Instead the company went with a white fudge dipped sugar plum flavored chick.

These are coming soon as a Target exclusive in 3-count packages.

COMING SOON: Frosted Maple & Bacon, Chocolatey Caramel, Watermelon, and Pink Lemonade Pop-Tarts

Frosted Maple Bacon Chocolatey Caramel Watermelon and Pink Lemonade Pop Tarts

Impulsive Buy reader Cupcake Kelly took this photo at The Food City Food Show in Tennessee. The most interesting of the bunch is the Frosted Maple & Bacon Flavored Pop-Tarts, which, going by its name, probably has no actual bacon. Although, the lack of pork could be solved by sprinkling some bacon bits on top or by wrapping the Pop-Tart in bacon.

As for the other flavors, a chocolate and caramel Pop-Tart has been done before, and the same can be said about watermelon. Pink Lemonade sounds intriguing, but I’m not sold on the idea of a Pop-Tart that might make me pucker.

It’s unknown when these will hit shelves.

One last thing…if you look at the bottom of the photo, it appears Kellogg’s Smorz cereal will be coming back.

COMING SOON: Coffee Nut, Honey Nut, and Chili Nut M&M’s

M Ms Flavor Vote

Update: We reviewed them! Click here to read our review.

In March, Mars will run a promotion called M&M’s Flavor Vote that’ll involve three new Peanut M&M’s flavors: Coffee Nut, Honey Nut, and Chili Nut. Voting will take place from the end of March to the middle of June. The image above come from an ad in Progressive Grocer magazine.

What’s really interesting about these flavors is the use of Peanut M&M’s. All the previous flavored M&M’s (pumpkin spice, peppermint, candy corn, pecan pie, I’m going to stop now or else this list will get super long) have either been milk chocolate or white chocolate M&M’s.
