NEWS: Jelly Belly and Tabasco Team Up To Make Sweet and Spicy Jelly Beans

TABASCO

Jelly Belly, the company that makes jelly beans in flavors that your heart does and doesn’t desire, has teamed up with Tabasco to produce sweet and spicy jelly beans.

The new jelly bean flavor uses genuine Tabasco seasoning, giving them the flavor and kick Tabasco lovers will enjoy. It will also give those who get off on eating Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans a new weird flavor to try.

Jelly Belly’s Tabasco Jelly Belly beans are currently available in bulk, in case you wanted to burn your mouth for hours by chain eating them. A webpage to order 3.1-ounce bags is up on the company’s online store, but according to the Drugstore News story, Jelly Belly won’t release the Tabasco flavor in the smaller bags until December.

Do you think Tabasco-flavored jelly beans are weird? Let us know in the comments.

NEWS: Turn Your Fingers Orange With Cheetos Puffs Smoked Cheddar

I predict the limited time only Cheetos Puffs Smoked Cheddar will be popular among the cannabis crowd because I imagine they will get a kick out of a product that contains the words “puffs” and “smoked.” That makes me giggle a little bit, and I’m not high.

Cheetos Puffs Smoked Cheddar features the usual cheesy flavor with a smoky twist. The new snack has some tie in with the upcoming release of the Just Dance 4 video game. They’re available now in 9-ounce bags for a suggested retail price of $3.49.

Yum Sugar has a review.

If you’ve tried Cheetos Puffs Smoked Cheddar, let us know what you think of them in the comments. If my words have somehow made you yearn for the new Cheetos variety, use Frito-Lay’s product finder to help you get some.

Limited Edition Marshmallow Pebbles

I’ve mentioned several times on this blog that I have a thing for redheads and I believe it all started because of Wilma Flintstone. Because of my love for redheads, I’m probably going to buy a box of Limited Edition Marshmallow Pebbles, which don’t appear to be any different than the old Marshmallow Pebbles and is only a limited edition because Wilma is on the front.

Werther's Originals Caramel Specialties

If Werther’s Original’s specialty is caramel (yup, double apostrophe S’s), then what’s so special about these Werther’s Original Caramel Specialties. Along with the Caramel, CaraMelts, and Toffee Crunch varieties, there’s also a Milk Chocolate version of these Werther’s Original Caramel Specialties. The Snackpot reviewed the Toffee Crunch flavor. (Gracias for the photo, Kenneth!)

Bacon jerky! Nice! Natural smoke flavor added! Nice! Non-edible silica moisture absorber! Nice! It’s like Beggin’ Strips for humans! Nice! (Mahalo for the pic, Scott!)

NEWS: When Life Gives Nabisco Lemons, They Make Limited Edition Lemon Twist Oreo

Lemons

What a year it’s been for new limited edition Oreo cookies. The year started with Birthday Cake Oreo, spring brought us Oreo Rainbow Shure-Bert, and Nabisco recently released Candy Corn Oreo cookies. It’s been an eventful 100th anniversary for the Oreo cookie. But Nabisco isn’t done. There’s now Limited Edition Lemon Twist Oreo.

The sandwich cookie features Golden Oreo cookies with a lemon filling.

If you’re an Oreo historian, you’d know Oreo once had a lemon variety in the 1920s, but it was quickly discontinued. There was also a lemon filling Oreo released in Japan.

Cookie Madness reviewed the new Lemon Twist Oreo and then made a bad ass pound cake with it.
